Hayden’s almost 1!!!

Posted under Kerry

My baby is just about to turn ONE! I can’t believe it! This time last year I was big and sore and just about to meet our littlest man for the first time. On Friday Hayden will be off playing at daycare and sharing a yummo cake for his birthday with the kids that he loves to play with while Mummy and Daddy will be getting ready for the big bash that will be happening on Sunday. Sunday the 14th Hayden will be getting Christened in his Daddy’s Christening gown, as did Anthony on his first birthday. His God Parents are Rochelle, Andrew, Danny and Milica. After the church service we will be enjoying some food, play and of course a special cake! Friends and family are coming over to help bring more laughter and cuddles and I reckon a present or two for our special little man.

The last 12 months have gone by so quickly I feel like he should only be a few months old. I don’t know if my age is making the time fly or all the fun we’ve been having is getting our little family to blossem. In his first year my little chunky man has learnt to crawl, play chase, clap, talk (Dadda, Mum, Ta, Hat, high 5), come when called, dance, sleep the night, got 6 teeth (more on the way soon!) and best of all he has started to get Anthony back for all the time he has been annoyed by his big brother! He he he! Hayden can eat like a champ and make a mess like one too. One of his favourite times of day it bath time. Most of the water ends up on the person bathing him but he enjoys himself, splasing and blowing bubbles in the water.

Thinking back over the years that we have spent in WA has been one of the strangest times ever. I have found a new lease for life with in my family that I have been able to create with my husban Jason. I would not have been able to make it through these years with out him.

We moved over here to have a new fun-filled life and that is was we got, but not was we had planned. We were suppose to be living up the last years with meeting new people and having a wow of a time. I wanted to get a great job and make money to buy a place of out own but instead I was given the choice to have the hardest job on the planet with out pay – Being a Mother. The house is still yet to come.
I’m so very thankful that I got to have my beautiful boys, these little people are the best things that could and DID ever happen to me. I wish some days that it was a little easeier but those days end up being the ones that I look back on. Laughing, smiling, playing and dancing with my babies makes my heart ache, looking in to their eyes knowing that they do love you for who you are and not what the world wants you to be is just the best feeling. I hope that one day they can have those special moments with their children.

I want so badly for Hayden to stop growing and be this size for ever. I know that that is impossible but a lady can dream, right??! Laying in bed the other night I was tring to see us 5 years down the track – I stopped and told myself that ‘what will be, will be’ so just leave it and roll with it. Great quotes come to mined – ‘Roll with the punches’, ‘Tomorrow’s a new day’, ‘Take each day as it comes’ and my new one is ‘Time seems endless untill you have kids’.

I find myself wanting to be closer to my family, I so badly want my boys to get to know the people that I love the most. They do know them though. Anthony comes over to my laptop and YELLS ‘Nannie, Poppa werrres are yooun?’ (Skype is a great thing) and he does ask now to speek to people on the phone too. Anthony has a memory like a elephant! Hayden is the one that I worry about now. I so badly want to know that I could drop by my parents place and have a cuppa while not worring about where and what the kiddies were doing. These moments are so rarely shared and I miss that. I have thoughs on how my life will be but I find that I only have to look back on the past to see that not even those moments went to plan.

I will be getting some more pictures on soon and I WILL be updating you on the Day that HAYDEN TURNS 1!!

My baby is a Big Boy SOON!

Daddy, Jason, Jay, Babe…

To you, from me…

I fell in love with you many yeas ago and today I still feel that same way. I sometimes don’t show it but I really do, deep down in my heart and soul, I love you.

I’m sorry that our days seem to go by so quickly. We try to find time to spend alone together, but that has become harder to find. I wonder why? ;)

As we watch our boys play and laugh my life feel plentiful, glancing over to you, slight smiles we show. Soon to be followed with laughter by all. I love that we have been given this Family to share together and I would like to thank you for making it with me. We have up’s and down’s like everyone, there is no perfect family. What we have though I could never ask any more, it is perfect in my eyes.

I thank you for showing and helping me the calm way all those years ago, for you have made me able to think past tomorrow.

Those words that I wrote last year and never posted on here, I now wish that I did. To show everyone how you mean to me and still do.

I find it hard to back your film career, but I always will no matter where it leads or how long it takes. Houses and cars can be put on hold but dreams should never. These are your dreams. I now have mine in those two little boys that we share together. The years that we have wanted and waited to have a family it is now your turn to have your dreams fulfilled.

Babe I love you!

Dream big for that is what you deserve and will receive . With your family by your side.

Love Kerry

New Year, New Hair…

Posted under Kerry

It may not look like a lot but to me it is quite a change… I gave myself some things that I NEED to compleat this year and I have done one of them already.  Get a new hair cut…

So when I was about in year 6 at school – that was a few years back now, I had a collage cut and that was the last time I had a fringe. A real fringe. I have had the long fringe since about year 8 and I really felt that this year I have to try new things so I have!

At first I was unsure about how it looked but now I really like it. I find myself wanting to do with my hair now, not just put it up in a clip and mess the top up.

Soooo want to have a lookies?

Daddy with his BOYS!

Posted under Kerry

One little man was being such a good boy that we told him that if he was to have a little rest that when he woke we would go down and play on the playground and maybe get a ice-cream. Well he did have that little rest and we did get a ice-cream.

Anthony had his first turn on the flying fox and got to use the big kid see-saw! He was so happy and proud of him self. Anthony also told Hayden that he had to play too, so Hayden joined in as much as a 10 month old could.

Gee I love those little Monkeys of ours! They are just the funniest little people.

Hayden has started to crawl better now, even uses his arms which makes him faster! Plus he has also cut 3 more teeth! What a Champ! He is now working on the bottom two, I hope they come through soon! Hayden has been doing this funny little sound with his tongue since they have popped through I will show you…

January 2010, Wow How Times Change…

Posted under Kerry

2010 has been a slow yet stead year so far. But some how the month has flown by us!

(this is a big one so grab a cuppa and have a read)

Hayden is now sporting 3 teeth (2 bottom, 1 top left) and still not crawling, why would you when you big brother pushes all the toys you need right in front of you. He does get around by rolling and stretching to where and what he wants. He is now weighing in around 12kg’s and 76cm long!

This little man of ours just loves to sit, stand, jump, clap, Hi-5, chat and of course EAT. His loves to feed himself so I have now got the vacuum out in a easy to reach spot! Gee a 10month old can make one hell of a mess!

Hayden now goes with Anthony to daycare once a week so that Daddy and I can have a day of ‘rest’ thus meaning a full SPRING clean normally. He loves playing with all the kids there and they all dote on him, He loves that. The DayCare girls love him too. We always have comments on how happy and smiley he is. He is just too cute!

Some of his favourite games are:
Throw and roll: Mummy rolls the ball and he throws it back.
Chase Anthony: Daddy holds Hayden and chases after Anthony, when Hayden is close he is Plonked on Anthony.
Twinkle Twinkle: Hayden now does the hand actions while you sing it!
Back Chat: When Mummy says “Mum, Mum, Mum” his response with a cheeky grin is “Dad, Dad, Dad”. Little turd, :)
Ahhh Boo: Think this one self explanatory, :)
Saved Ya Life: Making him lean back and then pulling him forward always gets a great laugh.

Video of Hayden Playing with Uncle Danny.

Anthony has become a BIG boy, He is now toilet trained even doing, in his words ‘Plops’ in the toilet too! (Poo is what dogs do, That is what he has told us) No more afternoon naps so that he can go to bed on time in the evening, but that makes for a loooooong day.

Every Thursday Anthony and I have a special outing. We are now SHOPPING Buddies! He comes with me to the local fruit and vegie wholesaler to get the weeks fruit and vegies. This has really improved his knowledge on all the different types of foods, colours and counting too. Daddy always asks for 2 to 3 different things that Anthony needs to find for him. When we are at the shop Anthony will spot the items Daddy has asked for and he gets to pick them. We always have to get Bananas for Hayden!

He has turned in to a really little Muso (wonder how he got that!). When ever we got to Grandad’s and Uncle Mick’s house he has to play the drums and the piano too. He is really quite good on the drums: Check on the video that I took of Anthony and Grandad having a Jam..

The scooter is one of his favourite outside toys. Anthony is so good with remembering to putting his helmet when riding it or his bike. His other love is the Cars ’slide thingy’ that he got for Christmas. His speech is amazing saying up to 5 to 7 word sentences now. Manners are another thing that Jay and I have been quite strict on and he know how to use them too.

Our Big Boy can:
Count to 10, we are learning up to 15 now.
Sing many songs including the ABC, Ring a Ring a Rosie, Incy Wince Spider, Mash Banana, Toot toot.
Uses his Manners:  Thank you, Bless you, Please, Your welcome, can I please.
Jump of high levels (the side of my couch) and land on his feet.
Draw circles, dots and lines and is getting the ‘happy’ and ’sad’ faces.
Spread butter on his sandwiches.
Somersault with ease.
Put on his own movie’s in his room, (I have copied all his movie’s now so when they are to scratched I burn a new one)
Throw a ball with quite a bit of force, almost catches too.
Know what his, Mum’s, Dad’s, Hayden’s names looks like. (This was a Pre-Christmas learning, made it easier for the name tags.)
Loose his temper and throw a tantie with ease too, :/

Video of Anthony jamming with Grandad.

We have been using the weather and making it to the beach and park when we can.

Daddy (Jason/Jay) is writing franticly at the moment (scripts). Any spare time when the kiddlets are at rest you will find him at the computer typing away with the smell of coffee seeping from his room. I am usually pottering around the place avoid the last bits of my study. I have to get back in to it now seeing as I have one unit left and 1 assingment to hand in and then I will be finished. Then it will be off to get a job.

I recently have been seeing some new doctors and they are changing my medication around on me to get me on some new and improved ones, so I have been up and down in the health area. But I have had some good news on the health front: new tests have come out for Arthritis and guess what I don’t have it! WoooHooo! I do on the other had have another condition which is treatable!! I’m on the mend!

I have also had some surgery too on my doctors advice. I did lots of taking over it before I went through with it and now Jay and Myself will not be having any more Bubba’s. This was a HUGE decision but one that I had to make for my health and the life’s of my two beautiful and health boys.

So that gets you all almost up to date, Hope that you all are well and cant wait to hear from you all!

Christmas…

Posted under Kerry

Hayden’s first Christmas was spent opening lots presents from Santa and playing with everyone, He had a wonderful day as did Anthony.

The day started very early for Mummy as she never seems to sleep well when Santas coming. Anthony and Hayden on the other hand slept in! Jay and I Skype my Mum and Dad over in SA and we were even able to hook in with my big sister Rose in Adelaide too.  After a cuppa It was time for me to wake up my Boys. I wanted Christmas to start! Hayden was easy to wake up but Anthony took a little time to click in that Santa had finally come to drop the presents that he had so been longing to see!

As it was Hayden’s First Christmas he was in amazement at all the colourful boxes with that paper stuff that you could EAT… Anthony was a good big brother finding presents for Hayden under the tree and helping him open them in between opening his own. Grandad came over for the opening of the gifts and to have some breakfast with us!

Both the boys got so many gifts that the morning FLEW by. Anthony and Hayden both played quietly in the lounge with there presents and Daddy and I just watch on with glee to see both of them so happy and content. Before we new it, it was time to head to Nana S’s for Christmas lunch. We were running late, Anthony had to bring Woody and Buzz along for the trip. Before we hit the highway Anthony was crashed out! too Cute! Hayden chatted all the way!

The afternoon was filled with Yummo food, great company, Lots of cuddles and play. Uncle Graham, Auntie Trish, Lochie (Broccoli as Anthony called him) and Hamish had come to stay with Nana S for Christmas all the way from SA. It was great to see them all and get to spent some time with them! In the evening Lochie, Hamish and Anthony ended up on Aunite Nys bed watching Shrek and the rest of us were playing Pool and having a quite drink.

Few that day was a long one!

Early Christmas…

Posted under Kerry

Seeing as Uncle Danny would be away at Christmas we had a little early presents opening session. So that he could see how much the boys liked the gifts he and Gemma got for them. Uncle Danny even had to do some building, Kids toys are a bit of a challenge some times!  Hayden was very happy with his musical cow and floor play centre, even Anthony enjoy Hayden’s gifts!  But once Uncle Danny pulled out a ‘Captin Feather Sword’ Anthony was in HEAVEN!! We all had to be tickled with it, He went from one person to another for most of the evening! Our boys are a bit Lucky to have such a thoughtful Uncle!

Hayden 9Months…

Posted under Kerry

Who invented time, they should slow it done a little as I cant believe how quickly is flying by!!

He is such a big and happy man, laughing at every chance. He loves to sit and play quietly and not really interested in moving yet. Im not really complaining. ;)

I have been trying to have as many cuddle with my rolly polly man as he is our last and I want to cherish the time I get with him!
