Hair Dye
Notes:
“One of the hardest lessons I’ve ever endured was the production of Hair Dye. Our crew got too large, to story too expansive and the execution below average. Salvaged in editing the film remains a favorite. A learned a lot about peeling a story right back to chore elements well after the fact on this film. My original screenplay was 32 pages… the first cut was 25 minutes and horrendous. Many scenes were cut and much production time could have been spent elsewhere, perfecting other things, had the screenplay been peeled back in the first place.”
“But that’s exactly what Hair Dye was all about — learning. I sure did that.”
